A collection of stories to make you wonder...
When Cassie buys an antique compact, little does she know it can foretell the future...her future. Marjorie, a Florida girl unwillingly transplanted to Vermont, learns there's more to fear from the alien snowfall than just the cold. Neil Dallas's jagged descent from rock and roll singer to drug-addicted has-been is unstoppable...or is it?
Curiosity killed the cat-but what about a delivery man who burns to know what's in all those packages? In a future world where clairvoyants decide a defendant's guilt or innocence, trouble brews when the accused has stronger psychic powers than the judge. Wanda Jean and Vincent are the last living married couple, treated like the museum pieces-can they singlehandedly revive a dead institution?
Let these eerie tales take you to a place where nothing is as it seems-where the only thing you can rely on is unexpected...
"Reminds me of popcorn...if you have a little, you wont stop, and the next thing you know youve finished the whole batch and are wondering when shes going to pop some more."--Robert L. Iles, author of DEAD WRONG
Every short story in MIRROR IMAGES is evocative and absorbing. Each and every one grabs you from the first sentence, and carries you along. There is absolutely no going back once you've begun.
Elizabeth Delisi is a professional. She knows how to grab your attention and keep it. Her natural gift for characterization and setting is enhanced by sparkling diamonds of description and beautifully unique phrases that make you want to read them again and again. The story plots are wonderfully imaginative and very believable. I found myself thinking about H.G. Wells in some spots, wondering if Ms. Delisi is truly a seer of what the future of technology may hold for us.
I give MIRROR IMAGES a five star plus rating and encourage everyone to pick up a copy. And while you're at it, pick up a copy of her novels, FATAL FORTUNE and SINCE ALL IS PASSING, both of which are equally well written. reviewed by Maureen McMahon, http://www.maureenmcmahon.com, author of Shadows In The Mist and Return Of The Gulls, http://www.avidpress.com

A master of romantic suspense, Ms. Delisi turns a dab hand toward storytelling that makes the reader think...and continue thinking long past "the end." Not for the faint of heart! This is NOT a book for a late, stormy dark evening read when the power is out and candles are lit and the reader is sitting home alone. Reviewed by: molly martin http://www.angelfire.com/ok4/mollymartin
***** A collection of short stories by author Elizabeth Delisi. The very first story is titled the same as the entire anthology, Mirror Images. I cannot honestly say which I liked the most! All through the first, I thought This is excellent. They must have placed this one first to hook the readers. Then I read the second story. Woops! There went THAT theory! It is much like watching "Tales From The Crypt" or "The Twilight Zone". Each are awesome and pull you in quickly, but a bizarre twists will shock your system! A KEEPER! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! ***** HUNTRESS BOOK REVIEWS (Reviewed by Detra Fitch)
